Alpha Fire Consultancy Limited was established in 1990 by managing director Tony Langdown and the company now enjoys an excellent reputation for providing a professional, reliable service. Numerous architects, property developers, companies, educational establishments and other organisations have greatly benefited from the Consultancy's professional yet affordable services. Tony Langdown is one of the UK's most experienced independent fire consultants and is a Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers. Prior to founding the company, Tony Langdown spent some 25 years as a specialist fire safety officer with local authority fire brigades, including 11 years as Deputy Senior Fire Prevention Officer of the West Midlands Fire Service which was the second largest in the country.
In 1992 Tony was appointed Fire Consultant to the Cinema Exhibitors' Association and represents the Association on the British Standards Institutions committees for Emergency Lighting and Safety Signs.
